Christmas is upon us, and I won't bore you with pictures of my christmas tree. I will however show you how I imbued our little flat with the spirit of Christmas cheer.

I have christian neighbors so I'm sure they won't mind. Had something a bit more classy in my mind, but with an hour to spare, this is what you get.

***************************************8

And I write lists and lists and lists for things. I have a perpetual to-do list I keep adding to. (The Love Faith Hope stickers have been on it since last Christmas) and another thing on the list for at least a year has been to recover the inners of my pillows.

To gross you out, here are the remnants of before...

they actually look worse in real life.

And last night, since we are going to bed on time now, Friday night has became stay-up-late and do fun stuff night. For me fun is making stuff, so I spontaneously did something from 'the list' that's been waiting quite a while.

Now we have yummy white pillow inners that cost no more than $3 to recover.

Irish Dancing stickers

Catherine's Irish Dancing school is having a raffle and each family was asked to contribute something.
So I decided to make some stickers!

Now I'm not sure... if this raffle is a fundraiser, then it's not just for Irish Dancers! oops. Oh well, if they don't think it's acceptable they can leave them out. At least I tried.

In the mean time... I have some new stickers to add to my Etsy shop! Wahoo!
When I get around to it anyhow

Sticker Designs for the Folk Festival 2012

Well, my Folk Festival programme arrived in the mail the other day, and then I remembered my plan to make and sell some stickers at the trade and exchange next time... so I've made an early start, and these are my designs. They'll all be cut in white vinyl for car windows... or maybe even to stick on a case... who knows?

GO KIWIS GO! take 2

Well, I did it... what do you think of this one?

I think I like it better... Ill probably upload them later on though.. better get off the computer!

GO KIWIS GO!

Designed another wall sticker. Just looking at it after I did it, I realised, if I'd been a bit more with it I could have had him with a jet pack on his back (I think it was even a kiwi who has just invented the first jet packs recently too). But now as I write this I realise there's nothing from stopping me going ahead and designing that too. I mean, I'm trying to go full time with my stickers, so I'm putting in the effort now.
I'm still in the process of ditching my business. There are a couple of ladies who won't pay for their business cards because they recon I did the colour wrong and want me to reprint them... but I've already paid the printer... I'll have to pay him again and make a loss.

Soooo sick of it, I feel like writing them an email saying "Sorry, I'm ditching this because people like you won't pay me for my work. Here's the file, go find your own printer and leave me alone. Good riddance."
I actually did write back to them without consulting my uncle and asked them to pay before hand and let them know I will be closing down soon and I will give them their files. I tried to be polite. I hope I was. I'm a very compliant person and usually just do what people tell me to do... but since I wont have to deal with them soon, it's given me a bit more courage.

PS. The Kiwi is our national bird. It can't fly... :)
