the humour... but a kiwi police officer became a You Tube hit with his conversation with a dodgy youth.

Interviewing a youth suspected of robbery, who tells the police man he is off to BP to buy a pie, completely deadpan Sergeant Baldwin replies "Three o'clock in the morning, that pie has probably been in the warming drawer for about 12 hours.""It will be thermo-nuclear - always blow on the pie. Safer communities together," he says (quoting the lame Police catch phrase).
