New from Old

Two blog posts in one day. Is that allowed?

Here's a chair I've been slowly working on since last year. It had no seat and was varnished and the leg joint was broken. I had to chip off the old glue and carefully put new nails in then bog the cracks. I pretty much sanded down all the varnish off by hand which is why it took me so long, then undercoat and a top coat of black which I have basically used for all the furniture in my flat.

I should really give my flat a good tidy and take a picture of how I've decorated it so far. Almost everything was salvaged or given to me.
